Your questions

How do I pay for my new home?

There are a number of ways. If you are eligible, you can access benefits to help with your rent and service charges. The process of moving can be expensive so we can also advise you of any financial assistance you may be entitled to.

Who can apply for our properties?

Currently, anyone over 60 or younger but in receipt of Disability Living Allowance can apply. However, this does vary dependent on the property so please contact us for further information and advice. We also have some properties for over 40's without an alarm or support; please call us to discuss your requirements.

You do not have to already live in Nottingham, Derby or Rushcliffe to apply for properties in these areas.

Is there a waiting list?

When your application form has been received, your details will be assessed based on the information you provide. Your application will then be banded according to your housing priority e.g. Band AA, Band A, Band B etc, and this will affect how long you have to wait.

Can I view the properties?

You are welcome to view many of our properties, talk to the Scheme Managers and have a look at the communal areas.

What support can you offer?

We can help you to complete application forms, make bids on your behalf and we can also sometimes offer support for decoration.

Can I bring my pet with me?

We appreciate how important your pets can be, and are pleased to say that a number of our properties do allow pets.

Will I be forced to play bingo and drink tea all day?

Not at all! Many of our properties have social activities organised, but they are there to use as and when you want. We realise we are all different in that respect.

How do I know when I am successful?

We will contact you directly to let you know the outcome of your application.

How can I find out more information?
