Estate inspections

We want your estate to be clean and tidy and we want you to be proud of your home and the area you live in.

Although our neighbourhood officers regularly visit estates to ensure they are being maintained, we also have a quarterly programme of estate inspections that cover all aspects of communal repairs, estate management, grounds maintenance and cleaning.

Estate inspections are carried out by your neighbourhood officer, caretaker and surveyor. Tenants are encouraged to attend to share any concerns or ideas on how we could improve the estate as your input is valuable to us - so please feel free to come along without notice to the meeting point as published and we will be very pleased to see you.

However, occasionally circumstances beyond our control prevent us from completing estate inspections as planned, for example due to unexpected sickness absence, poor weather conditions or other emergency situation. Therefore if you are planning to come along for an inspection if possible please contact the office. Then if the inspection has to be cancelled or rescheduled we will be able to contact you to let you know.

But please note that this situation is rare. Last year, even with the extended period of very poor weather we still completed over 90% of our inspections in line with the schedule and we strive to improve that figure this year.
