Paying your rent, service or support charge

Mastercard Solo Switch Visa Electron Visa Maestro

There are several ways you can pay. The main methods are:

Please remember that if you are paying by credit card, most credit card providers charge interest and will add this on to your outstanding balance every month.

You can also request a rent statement be sent out to you. To do this, please include your name and address on our feedback form.

Direct debit

Direct debit allows you to pay your rent or service charge without leaving your home, and allows us to automatically collect payments from your bank account once a month, or as often as suits you.

You can also choose a payment date to suit your needs. If this date falls on a weekend or holiday, we will collect the payment from your account on the next working day.

When your rent or service charge changes, we will update the payment instalments, so there is no need for you to do anything. We will give you at least 12 days’ notice of any change in instalment amounts.

Please note that if you would like to cancel your direct debit, we will need to know three days in advance of your payment. Any later than this and the payment process will have already begun, and we will not be able to cancel it for you.

allpay payment cards

When you moved into your new home, you should have received an allpay card. This card enables you to pay in the following ways:

  • the Post Office – for cash or cheque payment
  • PayPoint outlets in local shops and service stations – cash only payment
  • online
  • On the phone

To make a payment at a local shop, service station or the Post Office, give the cashier your allpay payment card along with your money, cheque or debit card. The shop will process your payment quickly and will give you a receipt. Please keep your receipt. Your card payment will normally reach your rent or service charge account in 1– 3 working days.

Paying over the internet

You can pay ONLINE

You will need to have your own email address, and must have your allpay payment card and a debit or credit card to hand.

Paying on the phone

You can pay on the phone by Callpay using a credit or debit card. Your account will be credited the following day. You should also have your allpay card to hand, however if you don’t your payment will still be processed.

To pay by Callpay, please call our Customer Services team during office hours on 0845 601 5042.

If you want to pay at the weekend or out of office hours you can use allpay's 24-hour automated telephone service: call 0870 243 6040. You will need your allpay card and debit or credit card.

By text from your mobile phone

You can make a payment by SMS, using your mobile phone with allpay's secure text message payment system.

To begin securely texting your payments you simply need a UK registered mobile phone, a valid allpay swipe card and a current debit or credit card. After a brief online registration via the allpay website, you can start to make your payments by text anytime - 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Once registered, to make a payment, simply text 'Pay' along with a registered text code (for example, 'Service Charge') and the amount you wish to pay (just the number, no pound sign), followed by the text password which is the last 4 digits of your debit/credit card. You will then receive a confirmation text message confirming your payment.
