There are several ways you can pay your rent or service charge. The main methods are:

Direct debit

With direct debit we automatically collect payments from your bank account at regular intervals so you never need to worry about missing a payment. The word allpay will be shown on your bank statement against your payment.

Telephone us on 0845 6015042 for more information about setting up a direct debit mandate over the phone. Remember, you will need to have a bank or building society account that accepts direct debits.

ONLINE

You can pay ONLINE securely via our partner allpay

All you need is your own valid email address, your allpay rent payment card and a debit or credit card.

Once on the allpay website, you will be asked to enter your payment card number, the long 19 digit code across the centre of the card. All first time users are asked to enter and confirm a password for added security and an email address at which the cardholder can receive payment confirmation.

The payment service accepts payments from debit or credit cards. Please remember that if you pay by credit card you may be charged interest which could make it more difficult for you to afford future payments. When you have completed the transaction, you will receive a confirmation email with a payment reference number.

If you are experiencing difficulties using allpay please contact them directly by email or by telephoning 0844 557 8321.

By text from your mobile phone

You can make a payment by SMS, using your mobile phone with allpay's secure text message payment system.

To begin securely texting your payments you simply need a UK registered mobile phone, a valid allpay swipe card and a current debit or credit card. After a brief online registration via the allpay website, you can start to make your payments by text anytime - 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Once registered, to make a payment, simply text 'Pay' along with a registered text code (for example, 'Rent') and the amount you wish to pay (just the number, no pound sign), followed by the text password which is the last 4 digits of your debit/credit card. You will then receive a confirmation text message confirming your payment.

By telephone

You can pay over the phone by calling us on 0845 6015042 during office hours or by calling allpay directly on 0844 557 8321 at anytime - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If you have a debit or credit card, we can take a payment over the phone. Please note you may be charged a fee to complete any transactions using a credit card.  We treat your bank details in complete confidence and write nothing down.

To make a payment via allpay you must have an allpay rent payment card and a debit or credit card.

Housing Benefit

If you are on a low income, you can apply for the local authority to pay some of your rent. Note that if we charge you for heating, water or certain other services, Housing Benefit never pays these and you must pay these yourself.

Standing order

A standing order is a regular payment from your bank or building society account to your rent account, and to work properly it must correctly quote your payment reference number. You should discuss the amount of the standing order with our Customer Services team on 0845 6015042, and they will send you a form quoting the necessary details.

Please do not use a form from your bank and building society: this creates a risk that your payments will not reach your rent account and you will be in arrears.

Standing order forms can be obtained from our Customer Services team on 0845 6015042. Standing orders should be made payable to Spirita.
