How to apply for a grant

A grant is money you can get to help you pay for a range of different things.

You can apply for grants to help you pay for the bare necessities.

This can include:

• community care funding, so that you can live independently in the community or to ease exceptional pressure on you or your family
• heating for your home and ways to make it energy efficient
• education and training
• help to adapt your home if you’re disabled.
