Our objectives

  • To work alongside local people to transform areas of underused ground into community gardens. Developing functional and well used outdoor space.
  • Create a thriving network of people and organisations with a shared interest in working together for the benefit of the community.
  • Maximise the benefit of outdoor areas in line with the government’s extended schools agenda, with opportunities for students to become involved in a diverse range of activities.
  • Provide life-changing training and development for community groups and vulnerable or older people at risk of exclusion, helping them make the most of their training and help them progress to possible work opportunities in the future.
  • Supply horticultural workshops to community groups and vulnerable adults introducing health & wellbeing on a range of subjects including: planting containers, wildlife gardening, vegetable growing and plant propagation.
  • Offer an exciting range of highly rewarding work experience places, resulting in outdoor spaces exactly suited to the needs of the community and valued by everyone.
  • To offer a professional regular service maintaining outdoor areas under an agreed contract. Transforming and maintaining gardens for a diverse range of people.
