Paying your rent or service charge

There are several ways you can your rent or service charge. These are:

  • allpay rent payment cards
  • direct debit
  • standing order
  • on the internet.

Rent payment cards

Once you receive your Spirita payment card from Allpay, you can use it to make a payment:

  • the Post Office – for cash or cheque paymentMoney
  • PayPoint outlets in local shops and service stations – cash only payment
  • pay ONLINE
  • AllPay's 24-hour automated telephone service: call 0870 243 6040 with your AllPay card and debit card.

To make a payment at one of the outlets or at the Post Office, hand over your card at the counter with your money, cheque or debit card. The shop will process your payment quickly and will give you a receipt. Please keep your receipt. Your card payment will normally reach your rent 'or service charge account in 1– 3 working days.

Direct debit

Direct debit allows you to pay your rent or service charge without
leaving your home. Direct debit allows us to automatically collect payments from your bank account once a month. You can choose one of two payment dates: the 5th or 20th of each month. If this date falls on a weekend or holiday, we will collect the payment from your account on the next working day.

When your rent or service charge changes, we will update the payment instalments. We will give you at least 14 days’ notice of any change in instalment amounts.

Standing order

A standing order is a form signed by you to instruct your bank to send money to us regularly.

We are happy to receive payments weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or monthly – so long as you pay in advance.

Please contact customer services if you would like to pay by standing order. You will be able to discuss what day or date to make the payment that will best suit you. The customer service adviser will work out a figure to keep your payments in advance, and will send you a form to complete, sign and pass on to your bank. Do not use a form from your bank. The form we will send you will have a reference number and details of our bank account. If you need to amend your order, contact our Customer Services Team for advice.

Paying over the internet

You can pay ONLINE

You will need to have your own email address, and must have your payment card and a debit or credit card with you.

Warning! Credit card payments

Remember that most credit card providers charge interest and will add this on to your outstanding balance every month. Think carefully about how you can afford the rent plus any interest payments.
