Some birthdays are particularly special, especially a centenary. Violet Foulke will be 100 years old on 27 July, meriting a double celebration, to which the press are invited.
Violet, who lives at Top Farm Court, Kilburn, which is a Spirita Sheltered Housing Scheme, is looking forward to a coffee morning to be held in her honour on Thursday, 24 July, 10.30 am - lunchtime.
Then, on Sunday, 27 July, the scheme will welcome Violet's family and friends, plus local dignitaries, to a special Garden Party, starting at 3.00pm.
